It is well worth being aware that already there are Africans living in the UK who are working to combat such abuse. One such organisation is AFRUCA - http://www.afruca.org We also must not forget the issue of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM). Amazing work is being done by FORWARD - http://www.forwarduk.org.uk and also by RAINBO - http://www.rainbo.org It is essential that we all educate ourselves about these issues and we are then best placed to do something about them. What was it Benjamin Franklin said:- "There is only one thing more expensive than education and that is ignorance." Mark T Jones.
